海南幂创科技有限公司 (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the Swift File Transfer iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the application.

Swift File Transfer does not require account registration or login. The files and clipboard text you choose are processed primarily on your device. Nearby transfers send content directly to the device you select on the local network. The currently displayed Send Link feature is not active and does not upload files to our servers.

1. Scope and Key Points

This Policy applies to Swift File Transfer and its related support services. It does not govern third-party apps, websites, or services that have their own privacy policies.

  • No account is required, and we do not ask you for a name, phone number, or email address to use the app.
  • Photos, videos, documents, clipboard text, and tool outputs are processed on your device unless you explicitly send, save, share, or export them.
  • Nearby uses an encrypted peer-to-peer connection. The recipient sees information about the transfer and must normally accept it before content is sent.
  • RevenueCat processes subscription and entitlement information. Singular may process device identifiers and usage events for attribution and analytics when configured and permitted.
  • We do not sell your files or use their contents to train artificial intelligence models.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Content you choose

When you choose photos, videos, Live Photos, documents, archives, or clipboard text, the app processes the selected content and related metadata such as file name, type, size, duration, dimensions, modification date, and integrity checksum. The app accesses only content you select or clipboard text you ask it to read or enter.

2.2 Nearby transfers

To discover and connect with nearby devices, the app processes an app-generated Nearby identifier, your device name, device type, nearby peer information, connection state, transfer request details, file manifests, progress, and verification results. The selected recipient receives the transferred content, file name, type, size, and other metadata required to reconstruct and verify the file.

2.3 On-device tools, history, and settings

Video compression, HEIC-to-JPG conversion, Live Photo-to-GIF conversion, and ZIP creation run on your device. The app stores imported files, received files, processed outputs, thumbnails, transfer and processing history, membership snapshots, feature usage counters, preferences, and app-generated installation or Nearby identifiers in its sandbox, UserDefaults, or Keychain as appropriate.

2.4 Purchases and subscriptions

If you view, buy, or restore Premium, Apple and RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and offering identifiers, purchase and renewal status, purchase and expiration dates, entitlement status, store environment, and device identifiers used to associate purchases and attribution. We do not receive your full payment card details.

2.5 Analytics and attribution

When Singular is enabled and permitted, it may process IDFA after your Apple tracking authorization, IDFV and other device or SDK identifiers, IP address and network information, device model, operating system, app version, advertising attribution data, sessions, and coarse app interaction events. Events may include screen or onboarding views, selected transfer mode, broad file category, bucketed item count and size, Nearby outcomes, tool type and result, History actions, Premium views, selected plan, and checkout status.

Analytics events are designed not to include file or folder names, file paths, nearby device names, file contents, clipboard contents, passwords, share links, contact information, precise location, or raw StoreKit, RevenueCat, or Singular transaction identifiers.

2.6 Support and diagnostics

If you contact us, we process your email address, message, attachments, and any information you voluntarily provide. Apple may provide crash or diagnostic information according to your device settings. Local diagnostic logs use restricted fields and are designed to exclude file names, paths, content, passwords, and raw identifiers.

3. Device Permissions and System Features

  • Photos: used to display and import photos, videos, and Live Photos you choose, and to save selected received or processed media to your library.
  • Local Network and Bonjour: used to discover nearby Swift File Transfer devices and establish an encrypted direct transfer.
  • Files and document picker: used to import documents you select and export files to a location you choose.
  • Clipboard: read only when you open or refresh the Clipboard source, or processed when you type a custom note.
  • Tracking: Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission controls access to IDFA and cross-app tracking for attribution and advertising measurement.
  • Share Sheet and media preview: Apple system interfaces receive only the content you choose to preview, save, or share.

You can change system permissions in iOS Settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission, but refusing tracking permission does not block file transfer, tools, purchases, or restoration of purchases.

4. How and Why We Use Information

  • Provide file selection, local processing, Nearby discovery and transfer, preview, save, share, History, Premium, and restore-purchase functions.
  • Maintain transfer integrity, prevent unauthorized transfer, secure the app, diagnose failures, and enforce free-use and Premium limits.
  • Display localized content, remember settings, restore local state, and improve reliability and usability.
  • Measure campaign performance and understand aggregated product interactions when analytics or tracking is permitted.
  • Respond to support, rights, safety, and legal requests and comply with applicable law.

Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include performing a contract with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in providing, securing, measuring, and improving the service where those interests are not overridden by your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5. When Information Is Shared

We do not sell your files or clipboard content. We share information only as described below:

  • Nearby recipient: content and required metadata are sent to the device you select. The recipient independently controls its copy after receipt.
  • Apple: provides iOS permissions, Photos, document picker, Share Sheet, App Store payments, subscription management, and optional diagnostics.
  • RevenueCat: manages anonymous customers, offerings, purchases, restoration, subscription status, and Premium entitlements. RevenueCat may forward configured subscription lifecycle events and available device attributes to Singular.
  • Singular: provides attribution, session measurement, and approved non-payment analytics events. If ATT is authorized, its processing may include IDFA and tracking for advertising measurement.
  • Service providers and authorities: we may disclose information to vendors acting under instructions, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, enforcement, or protection of rights.
  • Business transaction: information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Under laws that define “sharing” to include cross-context behavioral advertising, Singular-related tracking may constitute sharing when enabled and authorized. You can opt out by denying or revoking tracking permission.

6. Third-Party Services

Third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their practices, locations, and retention periods may change. Review their policies for details:

ZIPFoundation and Apple media frameworks perform file processing in the app and are not used by us to upload your file contents. Send Link is currently an interface placeholder. We will update this Policy and provide appropriate notice before enabling any feature that uploads files to cloud storage or creates web download links.

7. Tracking, Analytics, and Your Choices

Where configured, the app asks for Apple App Tracking Transparency authorization before allowing IDFA-based tracking. If you deny or revoke permission, Singular tracking is limited or stopped and IDFA is unavailable. RevenueCat purchases and entitlements, Nearby, tools, and History continue to work.

  • Change tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Change Photos and Local Network permissions in the app’s iOS Settings page.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Delete local records and managed files from History using the available delete controls.

ATT is an Apple permission and may not by itself satisfy every regional consent requirement. We will apply any additional consent or opt-out mechanism required before using analytics or advertising features in a particular jurisdiction.

8. Storage and Retention

  • Selected, received, and processed files are stored in the app sandbox until you delete the file or record, uninstall the app, or iOS removes the data. Completed files do not automatically expire in the current version.
  • Temporary imports, processing workspaces, partial transfers, and presentation copies are removed after completion, cancellation, startup maintenance, or when stale; temporary workspaces are generally limited to 24 hours.
  • Thumbnails are held in a size-limited cache and may be evicted and regenerated.
  • Transfer and processing metadata remains locally until you delete it or remove the app. Some Keychain identifiers may remain after uninstall depending on iOS behavior and are removed when the app or system explicitly deletes them.
  • Apple, RevenueCat, and Singular retain information according to their policies, configured retention settings, and legal obligations. Support and legal records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose.

Because there is no login account and most content remains only on your device, we normally cannot remotely locate or delete local files for you. Use the app’s delete controls or device storage controls to manage them.

9. Security

We use measures appropriate to the nature of the information, including the iOS app sandbox, Keychain storage for app-generated identifiers, encrypted MultipeerConnectivity sessions, recipient authorization, SHA-256 integrity checks, restricted analytics fields, and exclusion of managed content from device backup where configured.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep your device and Apple ID protected, verify the intended nearby recipient, review content before sharing, and delete files you no longer need.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the People’s Republic of China, while Apple, RevenueCat, Singular, and their service providers may process information in other countries or regions. Those locations may have different data protection laws. Where required, we and our providers use applicable contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, opt out of sale or sharing, and appeal a decision. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Most files and history are controlled directly on your device. For information handled by us or our providers, email us with the right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your request and may ask for limited information needed to locate vendor records. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Files you choose may themselves contain sensitive information, but the current core tools process them locally and we do not use their contents for advertising or profiling.

12. Children’s Privacy

Swift File Transfer is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian must authorize use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children contrary to applicable law or knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16 for behavioral advertising. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect product, vendor, legal, or security changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice in the app or by other appropriate means when a change is material. If a new feature materially changes how files or personal information are collected, such as activation of Send Link cloud uploads, we will update the Policy before that processing begins.
